Our products

We sell textiles handwoven in Guatemala. Most are one-of-a-kind pieces: only one unit of each exists. The photographs show the actual piece you will receive, though colors may look slightly different on your screen. Small variations in color, weave and measurements are inherent to handmade work and are part of each piece's character.

Products identified as printed (for example, the canvas totes) carry a print on plain fabric and are not handwoven; this is stated in their description.

Prices and payment

All prices are in U.S. dollars (USD) and include shipping to the United States and import duties. We may change prices at any time, but never after you have confirmed an order. Payments are processed through our gateway; we do not store your card details.

Availability

Because each piece is unique, once sold it is no longer available. If a system error prevented us from fulfilling your order, we will notify you and refund you in full.

Shipping and returns

Governed by our Shipping Policy and our Refund Policy, which form part of these terms.

Use of this site

The content of this site — text, photographs and designs — belongs to Origen Chapín and may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without written permission.

Limitation of liability

Our maximum liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Guatemala.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is always the one published on this page; the version in force at the time of your purchase applies to your order.
